Why we built VixFrame
Saving a still from a video should be simple. Many tools require large uploads, conversion queues, or exports scaled below the source resolution. VixFrame keeps the essential workflow in the browser so you can begin as soon as you choose a file.
Privacy through local processing
Your browser plays the video through a local object URL. Frame capture and ZIP packaging also happen on your device, so the video does not need to pass through a VixFrame server.
Clear, controllable output
Each capture uses the dimensions of the decoded video frame and is saved as PNG. Naming patterns, individual frame controls, and batch downloads make the images ready for your next workflow.
Advertising and the tool experience
Reserved advertising areas remain separate from the player, timeline, capture controls, and frame library. They are never placed over the video or inside your captured-frame list.
